Boaters

When you are using your own boat, you are the captain and have first and last say on fishing location. Boaters have first choice on where on the boat they fish from. The boater is responsible for ensuring boating safety and that the boat returns to the launch location on-time at the end of the tournament. 

Be a good host. Your non-boating companion is likely less experienced and skilled than you. Even though it is a competition, share your knowledge and expertise with them. The world is a happier place when everyone catches some fish.
